Fast driving means fast laps; but technology wins races. We bring innovative technologies to the streets.

Our drive. Schaeffler has been actively involved in motor sport for decades – and with good reason. We want to accelerate the development of innovations and technologies: and then bring them to the streets.
In this section, workshop professionals can stay up to date with all of Schaeffler’s motorsport activities in the DTM and Formula E . Let yourself be inspired!
Schaeffler's commitment to motorsports is not only a long-standing tradition, but also a top priority: because when it comes to racing, only the best will prevail. For us, staying at the top of the game is a challenge but also a driving force - because that is where milestones are set and victories are secured. As a workshop professional, you know only too well that the race is often decided in the pit lane. In the race to gain the trust of drivers off the track, it is no different.
For any vehicle entering a workshop, Schaeffler's products and solutions are the first choice when it comes to repair and maintenance. As one of the leading development partners in the automotive industry, Schaeffler draws on decades of experience in the spare parts market and stands for pioneering innovations. Whether it’s the LuK, INA, FAG or Ruville brands - all components are perfectly geared to each other and always meet original equipment quality.
The world of motorsport is the boost for innovation at Schaeffler. It is where bold pioneering achievements mature into convincing technologies and solutions. Our success over the last three decades or more - whether in the DTM or Formula E - has been built on our precision components and innovative drive systems. The latest example of such success was in the 2016-2017 season, when Lucas di Grassi and Team ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport won the Formula-E for the first time.
However, the greatest mark of success (and our greatest source of pleasure) is when spectacular innovations from high-tech cars become proven technology in production vehicles. Indeed, one of our technical milestones – the cage-guided needle roller bearing - was installed in the first series model from Porsche: the legendary 356. Since then, our innovative components for engines, gearboxes and chassis systems have constantly set new standards in the global automotive industry.
Together with you, we will continue to do our best to bring products and technologies into the race and onto the road.
